To give you the history of Another One Bites The Dust cleaning services. We have to start with the owner and founder, Shana von Knorring. Which was originally Shana Blythe when she first started her cleaning business.

She started cleaning for her parents back in high school where she attend Bennington High. Her parents offered her money in exchange for cleaning their three story home. Which happened to be something she was naturally really good at, not knowing it was something you could be considered good or later down the road an expert. She also got the occasional clean from their clients who were buying and selling their homes. She always dreamed of owning her own business. It never crossed her mind until years later that she kinda had a business on her hands with cleaning.

Not long after high school she found herself pregnant with her son Jaden. With big ambitions and big dreams she found herself with a huge responsibitle. Working from job to job. Mostly waiting tables and bartending (which served her well in learning the hospitality business and making customers happy) still contuineing to clean here and there. As word of month got out she started to find herself cleaning a lot of homes. Her son finally began school, which allowed her to go all in on herself and start a business. For a long time it was Shana’s Cleaning Business. She had the drive and stamina to clean and also had the flexibility to be with her son on days off and attend anything he was involved with. Although Jaden did come along on some of her cleaning business accounts in the beginning.

The fall of 2014 she came up with the name and decided to make it official and start her cleaning business. Another One Bites the Dust Cleaning Services began.

When she first got started with AOBTD cleaning services, she had selfish reasons. One was to take care of her and her son’s needs. To give them a place to live and food on the table. But she wasn’t the person she is today. she was about making money and what worked for her. In 2021, She rebooted the business with a year off (basically.) She never wanted to be someone who looked great on social media and lied about how we care. She really knew in her heart she needed it to be bigger than her and at the beginning, it was about her. But after many years of learning and personal growth, she now knows who she is and she knows how she wants to run her business now and in the future. It starts with her concept that she funnels all decisions in AOBTD business. It is the concept of win, win, win. We have all heard of win win. But win, win, win goes a step above that. It’s 3 parts 3 people. Our clients have to win with a 100% satisfied consistent clean relieved with a professional cleaner who is there for them. Our team has to win. They love their job get paid good and are appreciated for there hard work. The business also has to win by being profitable, pride in what we do and being a responsible company for all involved. It’s not just making money (although we want to be transparent and be honest when we say money is important in continuing to create a business that brings so many value.)
